IMPORTANT: Measure your Fire Pot or Tiki Torch before purchasing to make sure it will fit properly. Measures 4-1/2-inch Height x 3-inch Width x 2-1/4-inch Base
Fill 2/3 of the way up which would be approximately 5 ounces of a petroleum-based fuel, NOT gel fuel.
Think outside the box. Not only does this work as a fire pot insert, but it looks great in a candle holder or table-top tiki torch.
The Expensive Price of Fire: Firefly Fireport Insert vs. Gel Fuel
The least expensive gel fuel I could find costs about $3.58 for a 13-ounce can AND you need to purchase 24 cans. The burn time is approximately 3 hours. Easy math. It costs $1.19 per hour to use your firepot using DISPOSABLE Ethanol Cans. Hardly good for the environment or your pocketbook.
Firefly Paraffin Lamp Oil has a burn rate, with a 1/2-inch fiberglass wick, of approximately 3-1/2 hours per ounce of fuel; Buy a 32-oz. bottle of Paraffin Lamp Oil for about $13.49 to fill the firepot insert and your cost is only .14 CENTS per HOUR! Truly affordable
Makes for a beautiful table-top tiki torch

A product which successfully does its part toward the eventual heat death of the universe Bought mine to use as an alcohol lamp rather than for kerosene. Works fine for that purpose. The lid friction-fits in place securely enough to not fall off, but pulls off easily. The wick hole size is appropriate, holding the wick securely without the death-grip I’ve seen in others which makes it nigh impossible to replace the wick without some sort of pneumatic press. Would knock off half a point for it neither leading to more successful business ventures nor making me more attractive to…
Good, but could be great.
