Looks good, feels solid, but not designed for raised fire boxes/hearth-less fireplaces We have a firebox without a hearth, meaning it’s just a hole in a solid brick wall. I think this is also called a raised firebox.I probably should have checked the instructions first, but I found out once it was unpacked and ready, that this type is not designed at all to be installed in my situation.
