Nice addition to the steps First of all, this is a DIY item but get ready to spend 2-3 hours on it.You will need a measuring tape, drill and screw driver and a hammer.Mark where you want to install these and make sure that the alignment is right and satisfactory to you. Then drill pilot holes 3 inches apart. You really have to be precise here.After that you just have to put the screws in and hang the lights. Good pathway/guide lights These are handy little guide lights as I just purchased these to assist people walking up the side of our house at night. The other motion sensor light is at the top of the staircase so I figure I’d bring some light to the bottom. The kit comes with all the mounting hardware and instructions, but i opted to just use velcro to mount it because these are super light. There is only one button on the back to turn them on and off and has a sensor to detect if it is dark enough to turn on or not…
