The La Crosse turns out to be even worse than the AcuRite I ordered this thermometer to replace a new AcuRite that reads too high at low temperatures. The La Crosse turns out to be even worse than the AcuRite! Example: Reported temperature is -7 deg F. AcuRite indicates 0 deg F. LaCrosse indicates +4 deg F. The lower the temperature, the greater the discrepancy. In contrast, my 40-50 year old Taylor dial thermometer reads -6 Deg F.
