Works great, very bright at night Bought this light with an intex easy set pool (18×48 round). Hard to believe how simple it is to set up and how bright it actually is at night. Once it gets dark, the whole pool actually appears to glow. You can see easily from one end to the other. The light output is comparable to any 50+ watt system out there. The best part about it is the fact that there are no electrical wires or connections under water. The side that goes in the water is sealed with magnets to help it hold on to the outer portion through the liner. If it does happen to come apart, the sealed portion in the water floats to the surface. Really nice! The LED should be long lasting also. Overall I am very satisfied with it. I got it on sale for about $49.99. The only reason I am not giving it 5 stars is because it is still new and I don’t know how long it will last (I’m new to Intex and am still unsure about quality).
Great Light! This light is great. We bought it last spring and I love the way it lights up out 18 foot pool. We love it so much we run it on a timer that comes on at dusk for a few hours each night. It gives the backyard great atmosphere. But our backyard is fully protected with a tall fence and not visible from roads. But if yours is easily visible to everyone you may not want to try this if you aren’t around as it could invite trouble the same. Anyway looks and works great and very easy to set up. 5 stars!
Works better than described I have the 12 X 30 Intext pool and this little light is more than enough. It lights up the entire inside and even shines through the walls enough that the entire pool glows blue at night. It’s definately worth the seemingly high price for it’s sheer ease of use and the amount of light it puts out. It did exactly what I wanted it to do. Not at all dissapointed.
