Much Better Quality I spent nearly 20 years replacing Intermatic Malibu lights which at best would last 5 years. For about the same price, these lights appear to be made much better in several ways.Bolts are used to screw the top onto the base instead of directly onto the plastic lens. With the Malibus, either the lens breaks from the pressure of the top, or the top blows off down the street.The connector box is well designed to make a good water tight connection. With the Malibus you have to squeeze real hard with your thumbs, but you can use a screwdriver on these to force the prongs into the wire.
Nice set of outdoor low voltage lamps Lamps are made of metal and look as though they will weather as well or better than any other. They are well made and easy to install. I replaced all of my old plastic “Malibu” fixtures using the original underground cable.Definitely recommend.
Very good product This product was easy to install and appears to be well made. The electrical connection is larger than other products, but seems to be sturdier. I also believe it will be more water proof.
