Very pleased with this purchase I bought this light set to install at our new house and I am delighted. I agree with the previous review that the quality of these lights is well worth the extra money. I’ve had the plastic Malibu lights and the cheaper metal ones in the past. These blow them both away.The 75 feet of cable really isn’t enough to run all of these lights, so be prepared to buy more.I’ve also been swapping out the halogen bulbs with LED bulbs which allows me to add quite a few more lights to this transformer. Just be sure to get the warm LED bulbs unless you’re looking for that blue tint on your house.
Great Light Set Installed these lights about 1 month ago. They are stylish, well made, and worth the extra cost over the cheaper plastic sets. Easy to install and the entrance to our house is now beautifully lit at night.
This is a very nice product, especially for the price. I got 2 other estimates, both of which were over $2,000. I bought this unit, 200′ of extra wire (and used it all – mix of 14 and 16 gauge, unit comes with 16 gauge), 5 extra lights, and a second power source (I wanted two different timing settings) – all for under $500. The instructions are not complete and leave many unaswered questions – this required about 1 to 2 hours of research and reading. But, once I figured out all the details, I had the entire system installed in about 2-3 hours. I continue to move the lights to “tune” the final product, which is very easy if you leave the wires uncovered – I will bury them once I get it perfect. The path lights don’t put out much light, so depending on how much light you need, you want these about 6 feet apart (vs the 8 feet they recomend). Be sure to be familiar with the various wiring details and balancing load / wire distance. I spent considerable time being sure I understood this, and the final product was awesome.
