So far a wonderful product I am using this pump in my aquaponic garden. The pump is located in a 80 gallon sump tank and pumps water into a 3’x9’x10″ growbed with a head of approx. 5ft.. This pump runs for 15 minutes then is shut off by a timer for 45 minutes. The growbed is flooded 1 1/2 times within the 15 minute period using a bell siphon. I have been using two of these pumps to flood and drain two different growbeds and have had great success so far. I started running them two months ago and so far I’m pleased…

Weak, back it goes! My neighbor (Mary) and I ordered similar pumps but from different manufacturers at the same time, so I had the advantage of comparing the two. Well, I bought this one and my neighbor bought a “PonicsPump PP53006 : 530 GPH”, also on Amazon.When my Hydrofarm pump came in, it was well packed in a nice box with pretty color printing. Mary’s pump came in bubble wrap and a plastic bag. I remember bragging about the packaging looks, but that is where the advantages ceased. •…
