There were no instructions with mine and I had no idea what that tiny pin hole on the front top right by the round white motion detector was for. The only thing in the box was a pack of two screws and a tiny pin of some kind that will be easily lost. I finally reasoned that perhaps you had to turn this on initially, and that was the case.
