As near perfect as it gets. It’s really hard to get excited about doing a review for a thermometer/hygrometer, but this device is pretty sweet. Of course it shows humidity and temperature (it would be pretty stupid if it didn’t), but it also show highs and lows for either 24hr or all time, along with the trend for each.The settings on mine were pretty close out of the box, but if desired, it can also be calibrated so that what it displays is very accurate.The hygrometer display is a bit over…
This little item is a gem…read on I’ve purchased five humidistats over the past five years; I’ve trashed five of them over the past five years. This is the first one that actually works as advertised. I love that it can be calibrated. Just use a 2:1 ratio by weight of table or sea salt (NaCl) to water solution in a sealable container, insert something for the AcuRite to sit on (out of the water, of course), seal the top, and give the container time to develop a stable 75% humidity.
