Quality in doubt
1 bad remote sensor out of three. Base station and two of the sensors work well, I went through the calibration procedures. 1 sensor, however, no matter what channel I make it, or which batteries I use, (all new) just won’t link. It does blink it’s little red light, but doesn’t send a signal. While that 3rd one was kind of a “bonus” location I had planned for it, a 33% failure rate isn’t good.EDIT: After contacting Acurite, and it was a bit of a hassle to get sorted out, they DID send a replacement remote,…
Works great. I use it to monitor the bedrooms and … overall great temp/humidity station. Originally I was not getting readings on 2 of the sensors, however removing the batteries from the main display and setting it up again fixed that.I’ve set up several different acurite stations for friends / family over the years and this one was by far the simplest setup. We’ve 2 of the room monitors set up in my nieces rooms to monitor temperatures in there because their rooms are drafty. We discovered one of the rooms is way too cold and needs…
