It would make a better Frisbee than a thermometer! My expectations for this thermometer were very simple: I expected that this thermometer would work! I expected that if it was 68 degrees in the house this thermometer would read 65-70 degrees and if it was 35 degrees, it would read 32 to 38 degrees. I think these are very low expectations to have! An Excellent Basic Thermometer I needed an outside thermometer to fill in for the weather station while it was sent in for repair. I chose the AcuRite 01360 based on the low price and large dial.I first hung the thermometer on the north side of a cedar fence. Easy to read but way off on degrees When I was ordering this I read some of the reviews and saw that quite a few said it was off on the temperature. So when I received mine I was not surprised to see it was off by 8 degrees (pretty substantial) I was going to send it back but the hassle wasn’t worth the price.
