It recovered fine. The LCD display can be expected to fade … I’m impressed with the AcuRite 06044M wireless 433 MHz temperature humidity monitoring sensor. I was trouble shooting an electric LG clothes dryer exhaust venting issue and wanted to know the temperature in the output duct so I placed this sensor inside the duct and it kept on transmitting data back to the console. At first I had a problem discussed below. I expected the sensor to freak out, but it didn’t. With the dryer set to normal, the highest temperature the sensor transmitted to the…
Great Replacement! Had to Reinstall Batteries in Display to Get Units to Synchronize Though! This was a replacement for the original wireless sensor Model No. 00592TX that came with an AcuRite Deluxe Weather Center Model No. 01099 which they no longer make. The old unit was working just fine; but was looking rather weather- worn so I decided to replace it. I also ordered AcuRite’s Solar Radiation Shield sold here on Amazon which offers protection from the sun to give more accurate temperature and humidity readings. It should also provide protection from the rain/snow although it’s…

It would eat batteries in just one week. Tried different battery brands and the same thing. Now senor is only eight months old and doesn’t work at all. Only lasted really one month. Problems were just to many to many times to say it was a good buy. No where can I find a warranty statement just in case it has a one year warranty. Now I know why you see the home…
