Simple but story bird house
I didn’t know what to expect from a simple bird house like this, but it ended up being a pleasant surprise. It’s made from cedar, and it’s simple but sturdy. There’s a metal L-shaped latch which holds the door shut but allows you to open the door between “tenants” for cleaning. The opening is about 1-3/8″.The bird house is raw wood, but it’s cedar so it should stand up to the elements without paint–unpainted houses tend to be preferred by birds.
