VERY bright. RP clone. Should be advertised for outdoor use only. This is light is BRIGHT! It is virtually identical to the RP LIGHTING 8919 LED Mini Outdoor and Indoor Step/Stair Light, except for the fact the Cloudy Bay version is significantly brighter. Both products use the exact same LED driver, and as far as I can tell from comparing them, they use the same LEDs as well. Like the unit Like the unit. Bought 6 for outdoor stairs in a salty air harsh environment – put every third step. So far so good. Two problems I had that I shared with others.1. Putting the mounting plate on after the fixture is installed. I found this was because the fixture was too tight to the wall. I shimmed it out slightly and the plate goes on easily.2. The light it puts out is “really bright”. Too bright for the accent lighting I wanted on my stairs. Plus the light is white…
