Doesn’t stand up to the elements … or mice. As others have mentioned, this cover is large. It is too deep for my fire pit and much of it lays on the ground. The four ties work OK, but I find myself not taking the time to tie them. The vinyl did keep out the rain and snow, but the felt lining was torn to shreds by mice that used it to make nests INSIDE the fire pit. After 18 months, including two Midwest country winters and the summer in between, the vinyl is now dried out and cracked and has several holes. A recent windstorm shredded one…
Low cost and seems like it, but does the job for now Purchased because of the good price. However, the firepit that we purchased is on the smaller side and this cover dwarfs it. This is rated to cover firepits up to 44″ in diameter, ours is about 24″. Also seems a bit flimsy. However, it was more hassle than anything else to send back and purchase another, which even if it fit better or was more durable, would cost more.
