Multiple Power Sources
The Light-A-Life LED light can be powered from any 12V DC inverter. You can also use Goal Zero portable power packs such as the Sherpa 50 or the Sherpa 120 (sold separately) to power the Light-A-Life.
Please note: the Light-A-Life bulb is a 12V light bulb that needs to be powered by a 12V DC source–it is not meant for a conventional 100V AC socket.
Weather Resistant
When you’re outdoors, you can’t always predict the weather. Fortunately, the Light-A-Life is weather-resistant, allowing you to see your way even in inclement weather. No need to worry about getting your tent caught in a sudden summer shower at the beach, or a surprise light snowfall during a camping trip in the mountains.
Carry It Anywhere
The highly portable size of the Light-A-Life light makes it a cinch to carry with your other outdoor gear, and the 9-foot extender cord gives you plenty of reach between your power source and your lighting area. It’s ideal as a light source during camping trips, but can function as an easy-to-use LED light wherever you need illumination.

Great idea – needs more development Save your cardboard packing for the light assembly inside the light-a-life. The led assembly comes lose easily and could cause damage during transport. Other than this issue no complaints.Light output is good – agree that it is equal to a 45 watt bulb. I put two inside a seven person tent and felt that I was overlighting by camping standards. The included carabiner clips make the system versitile when hanging. The velcro cord strap is handy for strapping together extra cord. It impressed all of my camping partners. The lights chain together easily.Once the led light assembly issue is resolved this will be a five star product.
BRIGHT alternative This light is so bright! Bright white LED’s. I daisy-chained 3, inside a screen tent camping. My “chandelier” was the talk of the trip. Approx. 130 watts, (for the 3). Pair it with the Scout 150, for hook-up. Great alternative from using lanterns that use batteries. Imagine the possibilities…power outages, camping, emergencies, car or boat, trailer, cabin, inside/outside…where ever! GREAT PRODUCT!
good lights well worth amazon’s price i purchased 2 of these to light up a 10 ft x 10 ft wood shed and so far they have done better than all the previous lights i have purchased. when i ordered them i expected them to be about the same size as goal0’s estrella lights. they are in fact a lot bigger so if space is a concern get the estrella light. with them powered by my solar array i get about 16 hours of light on a single charge. the one problem i have is that if you jiggle the cords a little the light can go out which can be a problem since the lights hang by their power cord. the price on amazon is the best you can get. much better than even goal0’s site.
