Very Disappointing This is such a cute little cottage. It goes great in my garden which is filled with flowers of pastel colors surrounded by a white picket fence. We sprayed the house with a marine spray to extend the life of the finish. There is a door on the back for easy cleaning. We put the birdhouse up yesterday and today the birds moved in!UPDATE Sorry to say I have to change my review. Interesting This birdhouse will not withstand the elements. I mounted it under a large overhanging eve on my shed so it will stay out of the weather. I have bought similar birdhouses for about the same price but they never, never matched the quality of construction and the detail provided here. I don’t know how the people who make this product can do such a good job and still sell it at this price. Really well worth it.
