Look good, low power, last “forever” – what’s not to like? I replaced about 20 FX Luminaire “MolluscoMuro” lights with these. The FX lights were definitely not cheap and also quite aesthetically pleasing, so I was initially nervous at making such a large investment in these replacements, but the halogen lights (in the MolluscoMuro) were simply using too much power to leave on all night, also occasionally causing the fixtures to actually melt, and it was definitely a PITA having to constantly replace the bulbs. I’m pleased to say that these lights have been an *excellent* replacement so far and I would do the same again in a heartbeat. They look every bit as nice as the FX lights, at least in my opinion, and if the light they produce is not quite as “warm” as the halogen lights (which are somewhere around 3200 Kelvin, whereas I’d estimate these LED lights to produce something closer to 4500K), it’s more than worth it to use less than 1/10th the power in lighting my deck and not having to replace bulbs all the time. I’ve converted almost every indoor and outdoor halogen light I own to LED technology at this point, availability of LED solutions being the only factor holding me back.
