Great addition to the patio We purchased the fire pit for use in the Southern Arizona High Desert. A major consideration is fire safety. The screened cover for the top is heavy, fits well, and keeps the sparks in the pit. The animals outlined on the side of the device are also totally screened. We have used the pit several times now with just my wife and I as well as to cook and roast marshmallows with visitors. The grill fits very well and food cooks quickly.
