This is a CEILING light, useful only attached to unobstructed ceilings! I ended up buying the MB970 — a great light! I was very disappointed! I wanted to install this in a small closet in our older home. The ceilings are 13′ and hard to reach. So, I installed it above the inside of the door. When I open the door nothing happens. I literally have to reach up and wave my hand to get the light to come on. The light stays on for about 30 seconds, then I have to wait for about 20 seconds and wave my hand again and hope the light comes back on. This is literally a CEILING light and useless in any other location…
Great light – needed slight modification Great light. Looks great. Lights up my guest room shower which was dark before without needed to rip out drywall to run wire for a new switch.It did take some slight modification to make work for my needs. Was simple and easy to do – so donât let these deter you. First – added electrical tape to block light sensor. The shower was too dark for a good shower but enough to keep the light off.
