Simply Modern My home is modern with new steps in an offset and “floating” look. At night they are hard to see and distinguish where the next step is so I needed to light the edges to prevent any tripping hazard. These lights are perfect not only because they are modern and sleek but they also give just enough light as not to be so blinding or distracting. The body is aluminum. The light is softened by the opaque plastic lens. The stakes are thick and sturdy. The solar panel is located at the top. I do not get total sun during the day, but half sun and filtered sun. It appears to be enough to keep the lights on long enough thru the night. I liked them so much that I have ordered two more sets. Well worth the money spent. I have had other solar lights and have been disappointed but these seem to be bright enough and they do turn on!
