Overall, I think the duvet is a fine product and a good value overall, with a few exceptions:1) Because it’s thinner than a typical duvet, it doesn’t fill out duvet covers as well, so there’s extra material left on the sides. Not a huge deal, but it does take some effort to keep the duvet centered.2) The shell, while sturdy, is not exactly soft to the touch. Excellent Value Duvet Insert I bought the Lightweight Queen to use as a duvet insert for a Brooklinen duvet cover. I wanted lightweight because I sleep hot, and I want to use the same comforter year-round. So far it has been keeping me comfortable at night when the temperature in my bedroom dips to ~60°F.
