Effective bubbler that’s super easy to connect and deploy… arrived quickly! I ordered this to go with a Hi-Blow HP80 air pump. It was the sellers well informed answer to a question about compatibility that nailed it for me. Plus most of the other bubblers I was considering required rigging up some sort of adapter for a 3/8 hose and some sort of stand and/or weight to keep it on the bottom. With the Rootscape aerator, the 3/8 weighted hose attaches directly to the barbed connector and you simply drop it in the water and it…
Fragile This purchase was a disappointment. The aerator, even though fairly heavy and substantial, is fragile where the individual pieces meet. It lasted in my pond for 30 seconds.The little aerating hoses are attached to the base with tiny and weak zip-ties. One of them came off just by touching it.One of the blue threaded connectors broke off the moment I tossed the aerator into my pond for the first time. The second connector broke off when I pulled the aerator out of my pond…
