Exclusively designed and sold by Bootstrap Farmer, the only Seedling Starter Kit you will ever need. Understanding that farms are NOT a place for fragile objects, we decided to produce these trays for our own farm based off our own dissatisfaction with the flimsy and brittle quality of the other trays available online and in the big box stores. Tired of wasting money and putting more plastic into the landfills, we decided to produce trays that were thicker, could carry more weight and withstand even this farmers abuse. We are a small family farm in Eastern NC where we grow our own produce for a farm-to-food truck concept. We grow lettuce, kale, chard, microgreens, tomatoes, peppers, onions, you name it. We’d love to know what you’ve got yourself into, so feel free to contact us to chat about it! Key Features: Extra Thick Black Seed Propagation Flat Trays with and without holes, and Ultra Durable Humidity Domes. These are meant to be reused over and over, season after season. They are perfect for vegetables, herbs, flowers and germination of seedlings in soil or hydroponics for hobby or commercial growers. These are heavy duty 1020 trays sold exclusively by Bootstrap Farmer. The drainage holes allow for roots to continue to grow through the bottom of the cell tray, if desired. They are large enough for roots to find their way, but also small enough to hold moistened vermiculite in place. The extra thick dome keeps moisture in with an included vents to control air flow.

Version 2.0 is awesome! These are just pretty good. Better than anything else I have used, but not quite as strong as advertised. I like the cells well enough. They are quite sturdy and plenty deep for good root development. I had some trouble getting my seedlings out of the cells until I found a small salad fork to use that was smaller than the openings. My problem is with the trays. First I discovered that one them had a hole in it and does not hold water. Then I realized that the cells don’t sit low enough…
Game changer for small business succulent store!
Very high quality stuff (and some good articles for beginners, too) I received these a few days ago. I give these an “A” for quality, but only a “C minus” for design. As mentioned in other reviews, there is a flaw in the 72 cell trays that was supposed to be corrected a month ago â these are very shallow cells with the bottom dangling about an inch above the bottom of the tray. I’m trying to figure out how I’m going to use bottom heat to germinate given the significant 1″ air gap. My options are to either cut off a row of cells in both…
