Great lights, very delicate Ordered three sets. They looked good but are very delicate. The instructions say that you have to take apart the solar panel and put in the supplied battery. There was no battery in the box. I unscrewed the solar panel and opened it up. I did not know and wasn’t thinking that the two halves of the solar panel (the one I was opening) was connected together on the inside with a wire. The wiring on the inside is very cheap and the soldering is also. When I opened the panel, the wiring came loose and broke. The battery was already in its place and ready to go. I didn’t have to unscrew the panel and open it up. The directions were wrong. I tried soldering the wire back in its place but it hasn’t worked correctly. I’ll be returning it. The other two sets worked well. Having said that, I like these lights. They are small, delicate and provide only a very small amount of decorative, ambient light.
Solar Lights I love Solar Lights! I decorate my back yard yearlywith them. I looked for these in the summer of 2012but either the price was too high or they were sold out.I was glad to get them for this year-2013. FORGETdecorating for Christmas and the high cost of electricity….. go solar anddecorate in the summer plus you can enjoy them for a longerperiod of time.
I was very excited to find solar lights I could use outside as we do not have an outlet near our patio table and I did not want cords anyway could trip on. Unfortunately, these have been “charging” for 4 days and still do not work. What a bummer.
