Look nice! I’ve just put these up in the back yard and they look really nice. I recommend clear zip ties, but they do have a built on plastic clip that hooked right on to the 1/16″ wire cable I ran in a triangle around the yard. I purchased two sets and both had two bad bulbs that came with each. One was detached from the threaded base, and the other three didn’t come on. I replaced each bulb with a working bulb and verified it was not the strand, just a bad bulb. They do include one additional bulb (49 bulbs) but I’m still two short because of the four that didn’t work. Bulbs are inexpensive so not a total drag but still worth a mention. Pictures to follow…
Defective After plugging in, fuse blew. I replaced the fuse and it blew again. Defective product; I can’t recommend purchasing these lights.
They work as expected. Bulbs are the right size. I have them on a dimmer switch. At full light they light up the whole area. For mood lighting I dim them.Upon delivery, one bulb was smashed and two others were defective (glass part of bulb was crooked in the metal part and wouldn’t screw in fully. But, I didn’t need the full length. Actually, I cut the light string in half and spliced it back together (twisted wires w/ heat-shrink tubing) with the plug in the middle (25ft on each side) to accommodate where my outdoor outlet was. Easy peasy.Tip: in order to secure the ends of the wire to my roof eave, I tied a small knot in the end so that it wouldn’t slip through the wire clip.
