the Chinese are more than happy to supply us with cheap Heavy Duty? You must be joking. I am on my sixth pump, hahahahahaha, still cheaper than a Taco. We in the USA ask for cheap, the Chinese are more than happy to supply us with cheap. In the case of this pump the impeller is made of aluminum foil and the cast Iron impeller housing cracked from me hand tightening a piece of India made pipe nipple. So the pump that died tonight has been in service since Feb 6, it ran two to three hours per day pumping 80-90 degree fresh water. Sad to say a good…
Super Fast, Extremely Quiet, Highly Recommended! I bought this pump to help speed up water changes for our 7 aquariums. This pump is not only super fast, but it is extremely quiet. It performs at the advertised 380 gallons/hour and is much quieter than the transfer pump we were using prior. The instructions state that a lubricant should be applied after each use.
