Good but very rough finish IMPORTANT UPDATE 6/15/2014I ordered a second griddle because I prefer cooking on a flat surface since it is mainly veggies and small items. The plan was to replace BOTH the grates with these griddles but the instruction booklet that came with the griddle plate was very vague.
