PRODUCT IS GARBAGE, DIDN’T LAST MORE THAN A FEW HOURS OF PUMPING, ONLY 30-DAY WARRANTY?! I would give this ZERO stars if possible. I purchased this to drain my in-ground pool at the end of the season. I bought it in the summer, and didn’t use it until I was ready to close the pool. I loved it when i first got it
It’s ok, but needs care to work well. This is an ok pump. Its 25′ cord is a plus (+1). Lack of a hose bib is annoying (-1), even though a trip to Home Depot and a couple bucks solved that problem. It needs several inches of depth to do its thing (-1) otherwise it will take forever to fill the hose and start really pumping. I’m guessing that the hose bib connection clogs the outflow path a bit. Maybe a better sized exhaust hose (not a garden hose) would help. Its float switch cuts off the pump at several inches of depth – most…
