Very nice, but no match for a determined puppy Overall this is a very nice gate. It looks great, is well built, and is easy to install. And while I like the look of the wood portion of the gate, it unfortunately is a bad idea for puppies or dogs of any age that like to chew or are determined to get out. Within three weeks my 4 month old Beagle had chewed and broke his way through it. So I had to replace it with a gate made solely of metal.
Best gate I’ve ever owned I ordered this gate and just received it today. I cannot begin to say how much I love it. It was simple to install and it is very solid.I have two chihuahuas, one of which is a climber so I needed a gate that she couldn’t climb. The problem I found with most gates is that the bars are too far apart so she could either squeeze through or get her little head stuck. This gate is perfect because the bars are very close together.I have already recommended this gate to several people and will continue to do so!!
I love this gate! My husband and I bought 2 of these gates for our new puppy and I love them!! I relish not having to take down a gate or try to step over them (which isn’t fun for someone short ;). And this gate is stylish (is that possible? ;). I would recommend this gate to anyone. Yes, it’s pricey (I had my doubts), but after a couple of weeks, I love it!!!! Buy it! You can’t go wrong!
